Exhibition | Energy Lounge!

16 March - 19 June 2026 at ROAM (Zernikelaan 17). This work-in-progress project 'Energy Lounge!' symbolises a unique, cosy space of ROAM in Zernike campus, where diverse audiences can gather to learn about Energy Transition through artistic approaches. Twenty students from the off-course program at Academie Minerva will explore eco-friendly forms of art practices to share future visions in a chill-out, lounge setting. Energy transition is an urgent environmental issue from local to global, embracing multiple principles which can broaden artists’ creativity. The re-use of archives and sound-based/verbal communication will be focused on as sustainable methodologies. The title is inspired by Alfredo Jaar’s influential installation, Marx Lounge (2010-2016).
